To Authors
The form of the license agreement with the author(s) of the scientific journal of the Russian Academy of Sciences (available for download).
The form of the license agreement with the author(s), posted on the official resources of the Russian Academy of Sciences, is the only one approved by the Russian Academy of Sciences for use.
In accordance with the license agreement, the author grants the Russian Academy of Sciences an exclusive license to use a previously unpublished article in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
No fee is charged to authors.
Online submission of manuscripts is carried out through the editorial and publishing system of scientific journals of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the national platform of periodical scientific publications of the Russian Center for Scientific Research (Click to follow).
To use the system, the user must register and log in in accordance with the rules for using the platform.
Rules for Authors
The journal "Неорганические материалы / Inorganic Materials" publishes reviews, mini-reviews, original articles and chronicles on the chemistry, physics and technology of inorganic materials.
Articles in Russian and English are accepted for consideration.
List of documents and materials to be submitted to the editorial office of the journal together with the article:
- The organization's cover letter (a JPEG or PDF file).
- Expert opinion (only for authors from Russia), file in JPEG or PDF format.
- Information about authors in doc or docx format (last name, first name and patronymic (if any); place of work, office address with postal code; phone numbers: office, home and, if possible, mobile; email address). Please indicate the author who is authorized to negotiate with the editorial office. You don't need to provide any other information.
- License agreement for publishing an article in the journal "Неорганические материалы / Inorganic Materials"(publisher: Russian Academy of Science"). The agreement must be signed by all co-authors of the article.
- An article with drawings, designed in strict accordance with the Rules for authors of the journal. The electronic version is executed as a single file (no more than 7 MB in size). The file must include:
in the specified sequence.
- Reviewer's version of the article. For the convenience of the reviewer, you need to provide a version of the article, where figures, captions and tables are placed in the text of the article (file "For reviewing").
- Each drawing is duplicated in a separate file, in a format that provides good reproduction quality (TIFF, JPEG, etc.). Figure files should be named in Latin as follows: the surname of the first author of the article + the number of the figure in two-digit form (Ivanov_Image_01).
The title of the article should fully reflect its content. The article should briefly and clearly state the current state of the issue, the purpose of the work, the research methodology, the results and discussion of the data obtained. It is advisable to avoid duplicating data in tables, figures, and text.
It is recommended to standardize the structure of the article using subheadings: ABSTRACT, Key WORDS, INTRODUCTION, THEORETICAL ANALYSIS, EXPERIMENTAL PART, RESULTS AND DISCUSSION, CONCLUSION, ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS, FIGURES CAPTIONS, REFERENCES.
The article must be signed by all authors.
The manuscript is submitted electronically.

Design of the manuscript. The article should be typed in one column in Times New Roman (Arial, Courier New) font size 14 with double spacing and 2.5 cm margins on all sides. All pages must have the same numbering.
The article should not exceed 15 pages, including the abstract, text, tables, figure captions, and references. Drawings are not included in this volume.
The beginning of the article is drawn up as follows: article index according to the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC); title; authors; full name of the institutions (with postal addresses, indexes) in which the research was performed; e-mail address for publication, date of receipt. For example:

This is followed by an expanded abstract (typed in 14 font sizes with double spacing) and keywords.
Materials should use physical units and designations adopted in the International SI System of Units, and the relative atomic masses of elements on a scale of 12C. When naming substances, use the IUPAC rules approved by the USSR Academy of Sciences in 1980.
All abbreviations should be decoded, except for common abbreviations.
When mentioning foreign surnames, educational institutions, firms, etc., their original spelling is given in parentheses. If the article contains rare or fundamentally new terms, it is advisable to indicate on a separate page the options for translating them into English or publications by English-speaking authors that use similar terminology.
Formatting formulas. All formulas and alphabetic symbols are typed on the computer.
The accepted designations (in particular, indexes) should be identical throughout the article. The mixed use of Russian and Latin indexes in one article should be avoided.
Design of numerical material. Numerical material is presented in the form of tables. Each table is printed on a separate page. Tables are numbered in the order in which they are mentioned in the text in Arabic numerals. Each table must have a name.
Design of illustrations. Drawings must be made on a computer. It is recommended that the size of the drawing in the manuscript allows its reproduction in the journal without scaling 8-8.5 cm (for one column), or 17-17.5 cm (for two columns), and also ensures clarity of all details. All symbols in the figures are marked up in accordance with the text. Under the drawing, indicate the serial number and surname of the first author of the drawing. (For example: Fig. 1 Ivanov)
Placement of figures in the text of the article is not allowed.
Captions to drawings are printed on a separate page with double spacing and must correspond to the content of the drawings. You should not use non-alphabetic or non-numeric characters in captions, such as circles, triangles, etc. shown in the drawing.
The location of figures and tables in the text is indicated in the left margin of the manuscript, and they are referenced in the text.
Forming a list of references. The cited literature is given at the end of the article on a separate page.
Links are numbered in the order of their first mention in the text of the article. Citation of two or more works under the same number, the same work under different numbers; the use of links to unpublished works and private messages is not allowed. Link numbers in the text are indicated in square brackets.
References in the list of references should be printed in the original language. In case of references in languages that use a non-Latin font (Japanese, Chinese, etc.), the journal name and authors’ surnames are given in Latin transcription.
References to journals should contain the names and initials of the authors, titles of the article and journal, year, volume (T, V), number (no.) or issue( Issue), pages (p., p.), doi (if any).
For example:

- Graugash P., Melnes A.G. Etching of Cadmium Telluride // J. Electrochem. Soc. 1981. V. 128. № 4. Р. 924–926.
